The current (Spring 2009) issue of Cultural Critique contains a piece by Michael Golec on J.L. Austin, entitled “‘The Thinking Man’s Filter’: J.L. Austin’s Ordinary Language Philosophy as Cultural Criticism.” Golec is associate professor of design history in the Department of Art History, Theory, and Criticism at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
